Securing retrospective planning for a two bedroom residential detached dwelling.
NUKO Planning successfully secured retrospective planning application for a two bedroom residential detached dwelling with an enlarged ground floor, known as Windsor House, in Shropshire.
We were also appointed by the same client to secure planning permission for the reconfiguration in terms of layout and materiality of an adjacent industrial estate. The reconfiguration delivered an additional three commercial units, and allowed for improved parking capacity and traffic flow.
Challenge was presented by the LPA on the use of external materials, with NUKO Planning successfully negotiating the client’s preferred palette.
The site is in a flood-plain, and consideration had to be given to the finished floor levels and internal layout by way of mitigation to overcome the planning risk.
Planning permission was achieved for both schemes in Spring 2020. Development has now begun with work currently in progress.
